¿De qué se trata Harry Potter y el cáliz de fuego?

La cuarta película de la saga del niño mago titulada Harry Potter y el cáliz de fuego causó conmoción en los espectadores ya que fue el filme que obtuvo más ganancias monetarias durante el años de su lanzamiento, además de esto recibió un premio por parte de la Academia Británica de las Artes Cinematográficas y de la Televisión (BAFTA) por mejor diseño de producción. Para no pasarlo por alto Harry Potter y el cáliz de fuego recibió un premio Guiness tras ser el largometrajes más vendido en el año 2005.

La película se va a desarrollar en la temporada del torneo de Quidditch donde Harry va a tener que mostrar sus destrezas volando en las escobas mágicas, lastimosamente el torneo será interrumpido por los mortífagos, llamados a así a los seguidos del señor oscuro Lord Voldemor, este factor le agregó a la saga el toque de terror que le faltaba.

A raíz de esto, es convocado el torneo de los tres magos en donde será escogido por el cáliz de fuego un estudiante representante de cada casa de Hogwarts, el único requisito es tener más de 17 años, sin embargo, a la hora de la elección, el cáliz le hace un llamado inesperado a Harry Potter, un niño con tan sólo 14 años. El enfrentamiento será contra las otras dos escuelas de magia Beauxbatons y Durmstrang. En esta película se toca más a detalle el tema del amor, todos piensan que Harry y Hermione tendrán un enredo romántico pero resulta ser Ron el hombre enamorado de su amiga, el desenlace de su historia tomará lugar en el baile de navidad de la escuela y, por otro lado, los tres protagonistas tendrán que superar nuevos retos durante el torneo ya que todos los participantes y espectadores tienen deseos de ver fracasar al joven mago protagonista debido a sus altos niveles de dominio de la magia y hechicería que lo caracterizan.
